Hello my name is Olga. I have been involved in different kinds of activities for majority of my life. It started with dancing, soccer, yoga, Olympic Weightlifting and fitness. Further, learning more about exercise and movement science, allowed me to better understand body mechanics as well as physiological and psychological benefits of movements.
Being at school, I’ve discovered CrossFit. At first, the work outs were very intense for me and I could not do many movements, but the spirit in the gym with the strong athletes cheering the last one to finish, that was what often helped me to stick to it. I’m still getting stronger and learning what my body is capable of physically., Exercise is also most beneficial for me for my mental health. Moving my body helps me to stay more present and cope with everyday stress. Recently I have started to focus more on nutrition as it is a big part of a healthy lifestyle.
Overall, movement for me is an act of self care.
In my personal life I like getting out in nature by exploring new places, hiking or camping. I like to spend time with my family, friends and my kitten.
